PINA COLADAS???

This song relates to my topic because it exemplifies how the lack of interpersonal communication affects long term relationships. The song Pina Coladas show that the couple has been in their relationship long-term, but have grown distant. They haven't discovered ways to connect or reconnect in their relationship. My research paper will go in-depth about how interpersonal communication affects a long term relationship, to explain relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction can disrupt ties over time. "t, researchers consistently have shown that there is a strong positive association between relationship satisfaction and sexual satisfaction (Byers)." Many times couples try to insert solutions into their relationship in an attempt to circumvent the challenges they have. By either going out of wedlock and getting another individual to try and "spice up" their lives. The method mentioned has proven to be an unhealthy appoach because it is not a solution its a cover-up of the longing problem. The information that I knew before this was of either my own experience or the experience of others around me. I am surprised to see how many people have everything they desire in front of them but do not know it because they do not desire or know how to present the opportunity to have a healthy conversation. I plan on taking this study to social media and my friend circle for a more broad perspective and tools to counteract these problems in relationships.
