Hi, welcome to Iyana Moton, I am a Junior at ODU Majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public relations, advocacy, and persuasion with a Minor in Marketing. I am currently taking four classes here at ODU Intro to Human Communication, Understanding Media, Persuasion, and Nonverbal Communication. I am taking these courses to get a better understanding of how professional communication in the career and non-career setting. I plan on using my degree in my business ventures so that I am fiscally inclined and also inclined business-wise. I plan to own multiple businesses in multiple states, starting now as a junior in college. My work experience ranging from the YMCA to the Dean’s Office here at ODU. I come from Smithfield, VA, and I am the youngest of three children with a total of 5 nieces and nephews.
